On this occasion, a family got in touch about a house clearance for a first floor flat in Chelsea that needed to be emptied out when the resident was moved into a care home.
Removing Unwanted Furniture

With it being a first floor flat clearance, removing the large items down the stairs at the house in Chelsea was a bit of a challenge. However, we carefully moved out all the unwanted furniture including beds, chest of drawers, bookshelves, wardrobes and sofas. Disposing of the Left Behind Items
We ask that before we go to any house or property that is booked in for clearance, that the customer sweeps the property and takes any belongings they want to keep before we get to work. This gives them the opportunity to gather any sentimental items or pieces of furniture they wish to keep. Furthermore, it means we can get the job completed more quickly and efficiently.
As this property had been home to the resident for decades, there was a lot of junk left behind that the family simply wanted to have removed. We took all of this away for sorting to be recycled, reused or correctly disposed of.
Clearing the Kitchen
As well as bedrooms, lounges and spare rooms, we also take on the task of clearing kitchens. We removed all the old cutlery, pots, pans and plates and leaving an empty canvas for the next resident. Kitchens always look so much bigger and spacious once the junk is removed, often making them more desirable when it comes to the sale of the property.
Leaving Behind a Tidy Chelsea Flat
Given the current circumstances, once all the unwanted items left behind by the residents family were removed, we took a series of pictures to provide to the customer so that they could see the flat was now clean and tidy, ready to put on the market ready for a new buyer looking for a home in the Chelsea area.
